For what its worth:
If there were any resurrection to take place here, I would like to see the following:
Administrator status to anybody from the old school who is interested in Administering
The only reason this place really 'died' before was because I did not have administration privileges to do basic and necessary maintenance in the forum for the people who were still around.
I'm not saying I would have time to administer the site at this point in time, but I think there is a circle of people who are responsible and trustworthy enough to be given this authority.
At this point, I think particularly Civilison and/or Sunny Winters would be good choices at the least to be able to administer this forum.
I'd also like to see some sort of identifiable objective or direction for any community that develops - even if that objective is nothing more than being a online place to help sort things out for our minds.
It helps to be able to define a collective purpose.

1. No doubt I'm going to get on it so you get your Administrative Privileges, I'm gonna get at Shah to be honest I don't think I personally have the access to make people administrators and moderators of our forums so just give me some time to get at some peeps!
2. I am personally willing to organize/supervise/contribute to this forum. It is one of the only forums where the top builders can get together without any of the foolishness that's usually on all the other forums.
3. The objectives are simple:
* We've been rubbing off of each others' knowledge for a long time now. We just need to continue that in an attempt to create a conscious on line network where we bring the our questions and answers to the table in the open where everybody can fill in the holes you were not able to fill in yourself; or add on to them.
* To have an active community bringing it up to 100 and beyond members who can keep this place alive and interesting.
* To make certain knowledge available to a person who would not normally receive that knowledge in his area - the foremost beauty of the net.
* To get all the older heads who were here before reunited. We all know we got a lot to say.
* To spread correct information to people who will build off of the strength of it.

Peace to both of my brothers.
I'd like to start my return off by personally apologizing for helping to play a part in C2G dying out. It's not like I stopped going online or stopped studying, I just stopped coming to the Cradle. I've always wished that there was one place that had the people and the info of a extremely positive and enlightened nature and once I got that it fizzled out. So a thousand pardons to my brothers and sisters.
1. I agreed with X. We, trusted old heads should all have full Admin authority with Shah being the final King of kings for our site. This way if life takes any of us from the Cradle at any given time someone is there to do what needs to be done and handle Cradle business.
2. X, I think the site died when Shah had to step away to handle his situation after the fire. That's just my observation because it wasn't to long after his fire that activity just dwindled. But maybe you're right.
3. I think that Civ summed up our objectives beautifully. I've come to realize that their is a lot of info out here that we don't have access to yet. That, once you've gotten more and more of this info you start to learn how the dots are connected on every level. I've been connecting with people to the point I was thinking 'Damn I wish there was a site the had all this shit and all of these people on it. Low and behold, it's always been right here at c2g. We need each other more then ever to do as Civ said 'Fill in holes' for one and other.
4. We do need to expand our membership. 100+ will keep us alive and growing for sure. I think one of the best ways is to tell everyone we know who is interested in this way of life and active on the internet. Also we should go to every forum that we are currently apart of and spread the word of c2g. A lot of these Hip-Hop site got people in it the be dropping crazy knowledge and want knowledge. Most people want it to be with out the b.s. though.
5. I think that we should expand I media or give more attention to the media part of this site. Posting reviews, news, rumors, current events, interviews, and etc. This will keep us interesting. I can't front part of the rest I lost interest in the cradle and gravitated to other sites is because they feed the knowledge within the garbage. I would come to KTL/C2G to take a break from my music and I would go to Allhiphop to take a break from my studies. But once illseed started put some knowledge up here and there, and their forums had it all, I was stuck. What I'm saying is people go to WuCorp because of Wu-Tang, people go to AHH for all of hiphop, people go to Worldstar and thisis50 because this get hiphop, knowledge and more. We need to expand our media.

That's much peace Longevity! Respect for coming through and contributing. I think you brought up some real relevant points, let me break it down...
First off, I just want to say to everybody that I don't have the administrative power myself to make y'all Admins, we are still waiting for brother Shah to intervene with that issue. No doubt Shyhiem is our backbone here and no doubt you, X, Sunny and whoever else qualified should have moderating/administrative powers.
It's true what X was saying I know the brother is mad skilled at supervising forums and Light.H.X we're still waiting and I know you stayed active on other forums even after everybody left this place.... I think it's also true about what you said about Shah with the unfortunate accident Longevity. After that everybody was a little discouraged and like you mentioned life just takes you away. But we're all slowly coming together. They say be in the now.
To me building with all you brothers here back in the days really gave me a lot of positive knowledge which helped me with my struggles in life. I think a lot of people can say the same about this. We're here to build in contrast to the destroyed world. We're also here to make it interesting and I totally agree with the concept of expanding our media section. It think it would make the Cradle more complete it would also attract a lot of viewers and posters. I think as the whole Administrative Board comes together here we need to discuss in detail as to how we want to go about this. Peace!
