movie looks interesting, heard it got pushed back.
Also, I've read Alan Moore (writer for the comic V for Vendetta) has distanced himself completely from films based on his comic works (such as League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, From Hell, and Constantine), and said the script for V is imbecilic. Also, he now gives all of the option money to the artists of the comics and does not want his name at all on any film projects.
Shame Hollywood always bastardizes great stories....

I hadn't heard that, it'd be a shame. I've not read the screenplay, but recently read the artist of the comic, David Lloyd, is pleased with it. I'll peep it at the flicks though, to see what direction hollywood takes/allows on the government vs public themes.
