Being that this is the music section... Who are the musicians among us? Anybody in the LosAngeles area?
With the new year have come drastic changes... but as a result I have been blessed with great amounts of free time. Time that I have spent sharpening these creative skills that I have suppressed for far too long. The iron is hot. The blades are glowing white and pliant.
Anybody out there? Collaboration?

Everything starts off in accoustic form for me... just sitting there splurging onto the fretboard... a lot of strumming and finger picking. A bit classical / flamenco tasting... and yet not so much. I try to weave chord changes that rip tears without the usage of lyrics... so that the rythyms themselves drag emotion from you no matter what tongue you speak. (Ive broken myself over some melodies...)
I've played bass in Reggae & Psychadelic projects... guitar in Death metal, Classic Rock & Funk bands... dabbled in the drums. I've always wanted to partake in some sort of Jazz project but could never find any seasoned Jazz musicians in my circle...
...but at the end of the day... I retire to my accoustic again.
...I guess Im like Bob Dylan at heart. Nothing more intense than a man - one on one with his instrument.
In short... anything dude. Digital or Analog. |
