don't know much. Anunnaki is apparently a Sumerian word meaning "those who came from the heavens" (or something like that). Believed to be an alien species from the "12 Planet" who helped in the building of the Sumerian civilisation.

I know Malachi Z. York includes them in his teachings, although I don't think the idea originated from him (like most of his teachings).

In my opinion it all sounds like a bit of a fairy tale, but who knows? I personally believe in the existence of "aliens". Whether or not there are beings from other planets who have visited earth is another question all together. Quite frankly, although interesting, it isn't something that concerns me all that much.

But like I said, it is interesting. What is your knowledge of the Anunnaki, Universe7?

Indeed, that is the "concept" that is used........ However, it is one that is wholly illogical.....It is also a mirrored one that is used to "justify" how KEMET came into x-sistence.....It is then no more than an x-cuse to justify how any and everyone but the ORIGINAL MAN created such accomplishments on this planet.

The ANNUNAQI x-tra terrestrial theory orginates form Z SITCHIN. I place him along the similar lines of BLAVATSKY et al.

It's then interesting that YORK seeks to quote the lot of them, as the foundation for his works.

True indeed.

In the meantime, the concept of the ANNUNAQI mirrors that of KEMETIAN METU NETER, and with good reason, since the former is the sister culture to the latter.

It is interesting that the word "ANU" in both cultures has more or less the same meaning.

However, for KEMET, the term is used to describe the birthplace of humanity, which is AFRICA.

Why would the same not apply for the SUMERIANS?

well one of the VERY first events of the iraqi invasion was the looting of the museums... there were alot of museum people (?) mad over here in the states because they had worked out an agreement w/ the military to preserve any cultural artifacts... or something... buuuuut nope... recall hitler going in search of occultic artifacts... that was propbably a part of the operation (besides oil, and fear)
