O's Farrakhan review reminded me of a book I read on this by Harun Yahya and title "Never Plead Ignorance."
Basically it claims that no new species has come about through evolution. The two ways they can evolve is through natural selection and mutation, but aparently these can only make a species stronger not evolve an entirely new species.
The book also claims that with all our fossils etc there is no evidence EVER of a species evolving into an entirely new species.
These are some interesting claims and I just wanted to open it for discussion.
Personally, I don't think I came from monkeys but I don't know what I think..

Evolution as a process is DEFINITELY real and you can do it yourself with some fruit flies. As for whether or not it can create a new species, that obviously I can't vouch for on a personal level, but I'd bet it could.

Peace Subtle Energies,
I apologize I have not read the book you mentioned, but how does it explain Archaeopteryx and DNA profiles?

Evolution as a process is DEFINITELY real So is what is called "creationism". The key aspect that causes people to continuously fail to recognize the validity and coordination of both, is the left-minded perception that both cannot operate in unison with the other. As I had stated in O's Farrakhan review thread, it is no coincidence that most spiritually esoteric societies (Kemet, India, China, etc) were also scientifically astute societies as well. The BHAGAVAD GITA, PERT EM HERU, and I-CHING are all esoteric/spiritual writings, used to describe the scientific phenomenon that occurs within the universe. The key that joins the 2 premises, is the mental perception of it all. HOTEP

Oh naw, fuck that whales and monkeys non-sense There will definitely be an evolution process for humanity will be a mental and spiritual one. There will really be little to no need for the human body to evolve on a physical level, unless there is a drastic change on the earth's climate and/or environment. Otherwise, I would forsee significant changes in how the human brain is structured, which in turn leads to an enhancement of perception (we all know where that will lead).

PEACE,
I don't clearly understand the line drawn between "evolution" being accepted as a working process in modern time while concurrently rejecting some pretty basic tenets of physical anthropology. What is the spiritual/scientific explanation/data for the multitude of life/species on our planet? (a deep understanding incorporating both aspects of life has eluded me).
