because i value the input of anybody wishing to build
the yacub legend seems to be a tough sell to some groups of people
seeing value in it
however
i seem to have concluded that the yacub story represents nothing more than a history of INTENT
regardless of the names involved
regardless of the legends
regardless of dates
names
places
what the legend suggests is that the root of all current problems stems from INTENT rather then some sort of CHANCE
translating yacub into something more widely understood and readily discussed has had great benefits for me personally
on a wider scale
this is an issue that can be discussed with virtually anybody who maintains some degree of open-mindedness
it helps translate the story from the status of what could be considered a 'fairy tale' detailing the actions of an 'evil villain'
to
a situation that we find ourselves in
it has also proven helpful in being to objectively try to study what could have been done in order to bring about the current situation of calamity and doom
especially when trying to reconcile all of this with esoteric studies of
buddhism
sufism
etc
and all associated 'new age' sciences that seem to have borrowed from them
a possible common ground for people of different backgrounds to discuss
