please for the sake of further discussion
state how it is possible to look at a scripture as a reliable source of accurate historical information
a situation where a document is currently in existence but had no chance of ever having been manipulated and the events described are unquestionably accurate

Since it was the subject of the other thread that brought about this post and these questions concerning the two verses found in Revelation 2:9 & 3:9 is it your supposition that the WHITE CAUCASIAN ROMANS were not enslaving original people, even killing them, and that they were not the DEVIL? no white caucasian romans were enslaving everything and killing everything yes it is the result of the devil

on a related note
the same process is in effect today
antibiotics javex chemicals in foods property ownership rubbing alcohol rat poison pesticides
are all directly related to the devil enslaving the planet earth and trying to control what ultimately cannot be controlled
if you refuse to acknowledge this
well i dont think there is much longevity in trying to maintain that type of 'life'

History seems to be used more to rationalize than anything else. Its a bit stiff

Is the true use of history to help evolution/understanding? If so can it only be achieved by reinventing it or seeing it in new ways based on where we are at? And the obstruction to this is to believe that history can ever be 'completed', 'done and dusted'.
Please add-on coz I want to know
I dont think this post is very clear but please try and pull things out of it. Help me to help you to help me

Is the true use of history to help evolution/understanding? If so can it only be achieved by reinventing it or seeing it in new ways based on where we are at? And the obstruction to this is to believe that history can ever be 'completed', 'done and dusted'. Please add-on coz I want to know history may only be useful if you are willing to understand the underlying process once you can see the underlying process you begin to realize that history unfolded the way it did for a reason but the names and dates that you assign to it are of very little significance case in point - regardless of the outcome of world war II - saying for example that the nazis were able to conquer europe etc - the fact of the matter is that TECHNOLOGY would still have advanced and the world would continue production and we would be facing all of the same issues that we are facing today - mass confusion - environmental crises the closer you get to the source you have to use communication to un-do the effects of communication not the easiest task
