Initially i liked this film to a certain degree. I was also under the impression that this film would lead to alot more coverage of the 9/11 conspiracy. But thinkiing about it now ive had a change of mind.
I think the way Moore approached the 9/11 story was a perfect way to cover up the REAL issues.
Firstly the movie was actually released worldwide at the cinemas. If it contained any real info then it wouldnt have been , thats for sure.
Secondly the amount of lies/half truths in the film that are easily proven wrong makes the whole conspiracy subject look stupid and gives the impression that in order to create a conspiracy of 9/11 we need to edit video footage together to create false images and use false info.
Thirdly, no real info (fighter jets standing down, the pentagon video tapes, the story of the Hardcore Muslim fanatics getting drunk)was touched upon, making it look like there was nothing deeper to 9/11 than the info presented in the film. No real issue was made of Bush's prior knowlege .
For example, say your uncle/farther/mother went to see this film. Their reaction would be that somethings wrong sure, but the idea of a real consipracy has probably been eliminated from their heads, because Mr Moore, who supposedly reveals all, doesnt not say anything about all this information.

Um, a real conspiracy WAS presnted. You're complaining because it wasn't convoluted? I swear, people walk right past the truth, looking for something more. Will you be satisfied if he tossed in aliens, illuminati and the occult? He can only realy put out shit that the facts support whether or not that happens to be the truth or not and the facts simply dont support a lot of the theories out there.

shiieeeet... im w Tera on this one...
no mention of PNAC whatsoever, no mention of the sheer impossibility that planes could take the buildings down.... no mention of the standdown (like Teraizhim said) and how the FAA and their system works EVERYTIME except that one.
It tried to paint bush as an idiot, not as a puppet controlled by a group of very insidious pupeteers... a conspiracy was presented, yes: they planed to go to war for oil, not "democracy"... but anybody should realize that... the conspiracy that was IGNORED, was that that administration PLANNED to bring down the towers... to go to war and get oil.
the movie was funny, but hardly informative
