Peace
Word.
He is a leader of Men, in my opinion. He will tell the Truth regardless, and that is what the world needs. A desperately lacking quality/trait in our so called leaders. He tells the Truth so plainly the press in scared of him. This was one of his last of few appearances on mainstream media outlets, except C-Span...They can't kill him because the cities would burn and there would be great reprecussions. So they ignore him and slander him.

I googled Minister Farrakhan some more at work today... Saw he had apologized to Betty Shabazz for creating "an atmosphere" that led to Malcolm's death Your thoughts on his level of responsibility for Malcolm's assassination... Also, have you ever heard of this man: Mustafa El-Amin... Noted author, lecturer, teacher and businessman, Mustafa El-Amin is a recognized expert in the field of Freemasonry. Having devoted much of his life to work, study and research, he has given many lectures on a wide range of subjects. His works have led to positive dialogue between Muslims and Freemasons. His book, "The Religion of Islam and the Nation of Islam, What Is The Difference," is a book that clears up many misconceptions abou the religion of Islam. The latest book, "Afrocentricity, Malcolm X, and Al-Islam," presents valuable information about two ideologies that have had a great impact on African-Americans. home.earthlink.net/~hanan/el-amin.htmAre you familiar with his view that freemasonry is somehow compatible with NOI teachings? You are a deep well of knowledge Univ7, thanks for slaking my thirst a little

The Judas Factor: The plot to kill Malcolm X by Karl Evanzz, is the most in depth examination that I have found of his assasination with the larger picture in mind.
After Kennedy would not approve of OPERATION NORTHWOODS, and upon revelation of the Op to him, he sought to dismantle the Intellegence Agencies and re-draw them under better civilian supervison. He intended to withdraw from Vietnam. He was also friendly to the Civil Rights Movement. Another never mentioned, but equally important reason for his murder was his non-support of Israel as a State (Zionism), Mossad and Shin Bet had to get rid of him; Israel was just barely existing at the time....see Permindex
After the Bandung conference Malcolm, Kwame Nkrumah, Patrice Lumumba and other legitimate African leaders were going to establish a Pan African Union. Malcolm was planning to spearhead bringing the U.S. up on systemic pre meditated human rights violations, and other charges under the UN charter. This move would have found significant support by permanent Security Council members China, and Russia (Cold War was in full swing). Consider the implications...
These leaders were subsoquently assasinated and replaced with dictators in Africa and designated groups it could control as legitimate (NAACP and the like)
After the assasination of King, X, Medgar Evars and countless others the movement took on a more self defensive form this evolved into what became the Black Nationalist movement and The Black Panther Party.
This movement was summarily crushed by Total War against the BPP and the CIA's importation and distribution of Cocaine, they even showed drug dealers how to make crack (the cheap form) so every poor could afford it, up until that time it was a rich white mans drug. This money funded the Nicaraguan Contras who terrorrized their people and their newly elected government (this elected government for good reason was not aligned with the US). George Bush Sr. was the Chief architect of this plan as well as the attempted assassination on R. Reagan.
Farrakhans remarks were concerning specific things the Nation did, and said after Malcolm split. He bares no personal responsibilty, he is reconciling.
The compatability of Freemasonry and the NOI teachings lies where I stated earlier... the source
Drink up!
Peace
