TANANRIVE DUEThis is a Black female horror writer, along the lines of STEPHEN KING. In fact, it is rumored that she used to ghost write for KING, earlier in her career. She only has a few book under her belt, but they are bonafied spiritual thrillers. THE BETWEEN This is the first of her books, put out in 1996. It deals with a man who has unknowingly slipping in between realities, ever since he escaped a brush with death. MY SOUL TO KEEP Written in 1998, this is the first part in an epic tale that spans from America to AFRICA, from ancient to present times. I compelling tale of GODS and IMMORTALS. THE LIVING BLOOD As the 2001 sequel to MY SOUL TO KEEP, you can very well "judge this book by its cover", which is as erie as the story contained within it. We learn the origin of IMMORTALITY, and the price some people will pay to obtain it. THE GOOD HOUSE This book was published in 2003, though I have yet to obtain a copy and read it. However, it boast an equally spiritually frightful tale, along the lines of DUE's previous works. DUE incorporates AFRICAN and sometimes NATIVE AMERICAN culture, ranging from spirituality to esoteric high sciences in her writings......She gives a 7-dimensional depth and scope to Black people, that is sorely missing and needed within African American literature.

Horror isn't my thing. All of those books are at home though. Belong to my mother.
