I was
drinking diamonds hoping to add some sleek perfection,
danced a dual with modern science, second guessing
this very action,
then I
reached down and saw blood on my body
I died within seconds
trying to show up as something I could never be,
acid holes all over my skin, chips of reality
poking thru me
bitch slapped myself; I needed to awaken my spirit
quickly;
between a blink and a wink, I forgot my own value
and became a token trophy
to hold up your ego/
really was going to be hard
you know
letting you completely go,
but I needed to refine my mission
leave out man made materials
and watch a holy show,
carve initials of the poisoned demons
who made me think that without you
I would never grow
I drank those diamonds
trying to make us last
forever
