Land of Shadowing Wings

Worlds still turning, poetry in motion
Moons still lounging, waving to the ocean

9 prisoners, 9 planets rebel,
in a system named solar, trapped in suns jail

3 wise men still stand with Orion
Most peaceful man on Earth was still crowned a lion

Bees still intrigued by the feathers of birds
Broken hearts still finding love is just a word

Lucifer still remains, the prettiest angel
Mirrors still reflect your greatest enemy when they frame you

Wind still carries secrets, and whispers sweet nothings
The clouds still weep, and tomorrow keeps coming

Rainbows still ribbon the sky, marvelous wonder
Lightning’s to fast to fear, so we scared of the thunder

Sky’s still blue from reflecting off the sea
And the suns still beautiful to outreaching trees

Equator still embraces earth like warm hugs
World still quakes as Atlas’s shoulder shrug

Gods fingers still spinning, spiraling the galaxy
Show me selfish, show you when love becomes tragedy

Spirit of a dreams still held in dieing breaths
Judas still kiss cheeks, and die a 1000 deaths

We still sing hymnals and listen to psalms
And we still read suras and pray with clasped palms

Universe still bathes in meteor showers
Constellations tell stories during bedtime hours

Justice still standing, tipped scale and blind
Hate still takes learning, divide man from kind, mankind,

This piece has a nice flow to it. When you read it it just flots smoothly off the tongue nicely done.
