This shall be the "EVERYTHING CHESS" thread..... Even though Ialready have 4 chess boards around the house, I have been contemplating getting 2 more.... I'm rather torn between this one: Which can be purchased HERE, OR This one: Which can be purchased HERE. The first one is called the CHIOPS CHESS SET, and the second is called the BATTLE OF ACTIUM. What do you guys think? Feel free to Add-On here, about anything regarding the Dance On The 64 Squares Of Life And Death.

PEACE I honestly like them both, but if I had to choose I would go with the CHIOPS CHESS SET. It's not only eye catching but it has a more unique look to me. HOTEP

Currently I've got 2 (maybe 3) chess boards One is a Star Wars chess set which I'll post a pic of when I find one... the other is just your normal chess set and the maybe 3 is a one of those little travel boards with magnets on the pieces ;D SHEM HOTEP

I have 3 chess sets. One is basic glass, the second is Aztec-Meso American, the third is Chinese, with soapstone pieces, the pawns are all different, as well are the tiles, it's my favorite.
I like the Chiop's set as well.

Also from that site that SAM7 dropped... take a look at this set.
I've seen 3 and 4 way chess sets before but have never engaged in such a game. Anybody else?

I never even knew those 3 way boards existed.... Anyways, I just started getting back into chess a couple weeks ago when I bought Chessmaster for Xbox. I'm still only a beginner but that game has some amazingly useful tutorials (narrated by real grand masters) and puzzles in it. For $20 its a steal. I was just expecting a simulator with a few pointers, but it has hundreds of hours of tips in there. Also that Gza article in the ODB Source issue was pretty cool, didn't know he was being mentored by a Grand Master. I've always wondered what the Wu's chess ratings were...
