I stayed near Grand Rapids for awhile in my teen years... in fact i just got off the phone w/ someone from MI.

Im interested in making my money work for me (when i decide to make some)... but im also in a position where i can give accounting/investing advice... if there is profit to be made... people w/ money don't sleep

the main flaw behind money (and classic 'wealth' i suppose) -

and the reason why it will eventually be done away with -

is because it requires agreement

and - being an abstract concept as it is - this does not bode well for the future of money

after time it becomes less difficult to simply reject any abstract concept

The Paradigm of economica

Money has made slaves of men. It is a means to an end.
You cannot live in any urban center or be landless and ignore or abandon the economic system which is upon us. It must used, as they have used it against us.

The world will not abandon the system until God has returned in full. Until then we must use it in a way that lays the foundation of life for future generations. As physical wealth blesses Gods some become lost only to find Him later. Others have pre destined themselves to wealth through talents so as to make things grow and progress. What is certain, is that as the truth spreads through music, culture and reality it does not pre empt what is pre determined and not an excuse to be physically unproductive. The outcome is not relative. What is relative and alterable are the events that lead to the outcome. Having an introspective into the future we should be planning for it. If not for us than our sons and daughters. Physical work is required to live whether it be 9-5 or tilling the land. Therefore it makes no sense to use the Knowledge Wisdom Understanding as an excuse to be unproductive, this is counter productive to the Plan.

As long as humans en mass are trapped in a 3rd dimensional reality conciousness, we will never abandon the idea of physical wealth as it is understood. If not money then gold or land, goats or sheep, men and their souls.

Ofcourse "Knowledge is worth more than diamonds" and "what be it if a man gains the world? and lose his own soul?" K+W=U should be found before physical wealth. To ignore these in pursuit of the other will make it harder to find these jewels in the future. To attain or be blessed with wealth without having these jewels will likely result in losing it. There must be a balance of these focuses at all times.

I have had many conversations with Gods on the topic of the economic system and the conclusion has always been that money is needed and neccessary to make things happen! That we must participate in a concerted way and effort with common goals and understanding.

Build a school? Money... Buy farmland? Money. Start a co-op? Money. Community outreach? Money, Money, Money... don't discourage participation in the economic system or encourage submission to it.

Black consumers will spend 572.1 billion this year! The more of this money that becomes focused and directed, the faster things will change. The sooner we learn to make our money work for us, instead of giving it back to those who we work for, the sooner we will find ourselves in a position to manifest destiny.

Cashing In On Black Spending Power

The economy may or may not be on the verge of a turnaround, as Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan recently hinted before Congress, but one thing's for certain: black Americans are increasingly flexing their economic muscle. According to a recently released study by the University of Georgia's Selig Center for Economic Growth, black consumers will spend $572.1 billion this year, nearly double the $301 billion in spending power blacks had in 1990 — a rate that has outpaced growth in white consumer spending by 81 percent since 1990.
One factor in this economic success story has been the rapid rise in black incomes, sparked by the past decade's booming economy and job growth. Add to that the growth of businesses owned by African Americans — more than one million across the country, at last count — and it's clear that whatever effects the current recession may have on the black economy, it's still in a stronger position than ever before. And that translates into spending power.

"Each year from 1990 to 2001, the black consumer has been growing faster than the overall market," said Jeffrey Matthew Humphreys, Director of the Selig Center for Economic Growth and author of the report. "These are long-term trends, not just a flash in the pan."

States with the largest black consumer base are New York, California, Texas, Georgia, Florida, Maryland, Illinois, New Jersey, North Carolina and Virginia. But the states showing the most dramatic increase in black buying power are Idaho, South Dakota, Utah, Nevada, Vermont, Minnesota, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Montana, states whose historically smaller black populations are experiencing new growth.

One reason for the increase in black spending power, of course, is sheer population growth. African Americans account for 13 percent of the population in America, but the numbers are increasing: from 1990 to 2001 the nation's black population grew by 17 percent, compared to 11.2 percent for the total population and 8.7 percent for whites alone.

The African American population is not only growing, it is more youthful than other demographic groups. According to dates from Census 2000, the average median age for blacks in the United States is 30, compared to 37 for whites.

"The black population is relatively young compared to the overall US population," said Humphreys. "This means that as we move forward in time, a large proportion of African Americans are entering the workforce for the first time and they are climbing the career ladder, and this adds to the economic growth of the African American community."

The jobs they're stepping into are better than previously available. While the percentage of African Americans with a college degree still lags — only 13 percent of blacks are college graduates, compared to 25 percent of whites and 42 percent of Asians — high school graduation rates for blacks have reached parity with whites, meaning more young blacks are eligible for decent-paying entry-level jobs.

But while black spending power has increased, there are those within the black community who feel that corporate America has not responded adequately to court that power. Many black consumers still feel invisible when they see advertising and products aimed only at whites.

"The only people who've really taken advantage of this market are the auto industry," said Verdia Johnson, president of New York-based Foot Steps, an advertising agency specializing in the African American market. "Some companies [in other industries] have done events, others seminars. But no one has put forth an integrated effort like the auto industry has."

"They realize that black people have disposable incomes," said Ave Montague, head of Montague & Associates, a San Francisco-based public relations and advertising firm.

According to Target Market News, a Chicago-based research firm that tracks black spending patterns, blacks spent $43.2 billion on automobiles in 2001. Montague said that the auto industry has begun catering to the black community because of simple economics.

"If you look at any of the black magazines, you will see all of the top-of-the line cars in these magazines," said Montague. "You have a younger generation who wants the best."

Younger adult African Americans, often called the hip hop generation, will be the economic vehicle that contributes to the growth of the black community now and in the future. Bakari Kitwana, author of The Rap on Gangsta Rap, says that the hip hop market is one of the biggest untapped markets in the black community.

"The best indication of the hip hop generation's spending power is the success of rap music and, by extension, hip hop fashion such as Fubu, Phat Farm, Enyce, Sean John and other labels," said Kitwana.

But, says Kitwana, this group often gets overlooked by advertisers and others looking to tap into markets — even while its sense of style is co-opted by advertisers focusing on a wider youth market.

"We have been underestimated as consumers and written out of the [economic] equation," said Kitwana. "People want to see us as trend setters, when it comes to hip hop culture, but they do not think of us as buyers."

Whether or not black buying power has attracted sufficient attention and respect from mainstream corporate America is beside the point, argues Jim Clingman. Clingman, author of Blackonomics, says black spending power is meaningless unless that money returns to the black community.

"I do not call the figures power; I call it a black spending weakness," said Clingman. "It is nice that we are gaining more income, but only to the degree that we re-direct a portion of it to our own people. If we just turned over another ten percent of this to black-owned business, we could create huge business and capture niches in various industries."

One of the companies that Clingman said blacks should support is Matah, a black-owned and operated channel of distribution of consumer goods, like Amway. Through Matah, one can buy goods and services through the network, or through subsidiaries at discounted prices.

Networks such as Matah echo longstanding traditions within the black community of movements to direct black dollars toward black-owned businesses. In the 1930s and '40s, for instance, many urban leaders urged African Americans to employ what they called the "double-duty dollar," spending only at black-owned establishments, so that their paycheck went toward helping the entire community.

"With the black Matah network, this eliminates the excuse that 'I cannot buy anything black,'" said Clingman. "I encourage people to support black businesses in their cities, but I certainly encourage others to support Matah."

Whatever progress remains to be made in gaining respect from white companies or encouraging black businesses, experts like Humphreys believe that the growth in black spending power will continue over the next few years.

"The black market is a fast-growing market that will continue to attract the attention of the business community," said Humphreys. "Even with a recession, African American buying power increases more so than the general public."

and as awareness of this develops
the true 'game' nature of money emerges (undoubtedly a game set up by JUSTICE/LUCIFER)

and perhaps one may find it possible to breathe easier

i have often wondered why the focus is so commonly heavier on generating MORE (money, energy, etc) - the LIVE TO EAT mentality

rather than investing every resource into PACING and CONSERVATION - the EAT TO LIVE mentality

dependence and the use of money by the individual is one of many measures of disconnectedness from mother nature and father sun

By her magic were nations and men fooled to believe in the beast. Only then does God return. I'm not talking about Jesus either. The Jesus those expect to return from revelations is actually the Antichrist.

The false peace in Jerusalem is soon to come (Arafat has died). It is hard to say if war with Iran will come before the false peace it may come after. The way things are looking though, it appears at least a limited conflict is set in the works before the false peace.

The Iraq war has prepared the way for the Kings of the East.

These will manifest almost certainly in our lifetime. What a better time to be on Earth? We are in a unique position, and it is not coincidence.

No matter how much Knowledge is diffuesed into the masses it will not bring about an awakening and thus Gods return, except in a chosen few. Thus the majority 85% will remain dumb, deaf, and blind no matter what. This is why these things must happen first to allow His return.

There will also be signs in the heavens (Universe) and enviroment, maybe a poleshift, as the precessional cycle is soon up.
