My order is already pending. I have not read this book yet but I did the knowledge to a review and it seems enticing. Anyone build on this yet? In Peace, I-Son

More so theoretically and conceptually then practically.

What I loved about it was the mental and physical conditioning. The stances and motions made your body strong, and the pain of holding them made your mind strong. I stopped because the guy that owned the shop we practiced in moved. I don't know enough of it to practive by myself. Also, Im too lazy to practice what I do know on my own. I need to get back into it. Only meditative for I do now is a little thing called shackle hands.

It may be an interesting book but real Qi Gong is hard, and can be extremely strenuous from what I have done. Strengthening the dan tian isn't about some breathing techniques alone....
Learning Qi gong from a book can actually be dangerous...no internal arts teacher would recommend it..at best its a big waste of your time...
Read the book and it may be useful...but if you like what you see find a good teacher before getting into it seriously.

I agree with you, NICK.
As a matter of fact, RA UN NEFER AMEN makes it explicitly clear within all of his books, that you should never take the reading of his literature as actually having any sort of technical know-how regarding any of those subjects.........Whether it's meditation, energy channeling, martial arts, etc.
Regarding this book, though I have yet to complete it, it does provide useful info about QI QONG as a whole, though I am not unfamiliar with this art myself.
I like that AMEN focuses on the spiritual benefits to it, moreso than just the physical.

Peace Sam,
I am about to go back to my master to learn Chi Kung instead of the Ten Animals I was doing. I have experimented with some basics and got some encouraging results. I can't wait to start some real training ;D
