Muay thai baby. The OLD style, not that watered down western shit. This shit is so ill that I'm not even allowed to show their techniques outside the school. Its a military style designed that they claim is able to shut the western shit down with ease. I start tomorrow. The instructer was in my corner when I got my ass beat for the second time and offered to train me for just a little work around the school.
And to make things better, just like the guy next to me was talking about, black instructer with a school full of black guys.
Can't get better.

Well, it's about time man!!  I've been screaming this ever since I've known you. MT is far more superlative than TKD, especially when you begin to study, understand, and practice the science behind it. Now, if we can just get you to get into the spiritual aspect........  ;D Let me know about this all-black crew that you're rolling with though.......That sounds interesting, and once I get back on my feet, I might wanna join you all. Hey, I go over the top rope. ;D Anyways, I'll get into that as I progress. Knees and elbows is the next lesson. We do will get to the ram muay and what not. This guy really does teach all that.
Joe Merrit (sp?) is the head instructer. All of his instructers are black including the BJJ and TKD guys and I've only met one white guy in there. His best pro fighter is a white guy, but he's looking for black fighters. Having some trouble though because blacks in that area know more about boxing than the other stuff he offers.
Coincidently, a lot of the top instructers in the area are black. Manu (infamous), Eddie Monger, Walker (I think), and some of the other guys.

Wow, it was a black man who brought muay thai to atlanta. Interesting seeing as no black guys are getting paid now.
