I dream of going outside
Walking down the beach watching the tide

I dream of Afikaan queens and kings
Conquering kingdoms building pyramids and things

I dream of a united black nation
As it was in the beginning of creation

I dream of a land were I can be free
Free to do all the things that mean the most to me

I dream of a cure for aids
Wrapped together with the cure for hatred and rage

I dream of my home
Were me and my ancestors belong

I dream of Afikaa the motherland
Were Kuntaa & Shakaa play in the sand

I dream of oppressions chains
Finally being removed from our brains

I dream we had no bullets to shoot
Destroying the dreams of our future from the root

I dream of the Potter and the clay
That we will all return to one day

A dream is a very powerful thing
