Peace Brother,
It's time to discuss this issue in greater depth. I know you had some good ideas about expanding the media section - the Warrior's Drum as we have it laid out in our KNOWLEDGE sub-forums.
I would like to know what in particular you had in mind for this idea. I know you are involved in some on-line hip-hop communities, how would you go about this expansion? Would you suggest a whole new category of forum or just a modification of our Warrior's Drum section? What would you like to bring in here?
Let us know... we're all trying to make it work here.

I'm looking at it from an angle of how do we draw people to our site on a daily basis and give them reason to stay beyond the Knowledge we have to exchange.
My view point is if we can some how make a new home page through proboards (if they have the capablities) that features Knowledge, Current Events, Sports, Entertainment, etc (maybe some behind the sences info). From there people can click discuss to take them into the forum to build on that said feature. Something like how Yahoo does it's 'Buzz' selection for it's home page articles.
Not to take away from the Forum itself this new home page must have "Check out our forum" written all over it. That's the reason why we're here and why we want people to come. We also need an improved video format that allows us to post video from any other site so we can edutain through audio and visual as well as give us as members to post videos from ourselves that show and prove how we strive to live this all out.
Basically that's it. If there is any part of what I've said that you need me get detailed about just let me know.

I am quite cough up into these forums & web design and the only way i see a feature like this is to buy web space and get our www.cradle2dagrave.com. Proboard's only provides us limited features. |

We would have to buy out some internet space and a domain name, would cost about 80 bucks a year that we keep it going.
once that is done I am sure myself or LHX could make a dope website to go with the forum.

While I'm feeling your ideas 100%, unfortunately they're not executable without spending money like my brejin filli was saying. If this site pops off I am willing to pay for space myself even but for now we need to do the best we can within the forum right here to attract people. How you think we can make it better here? Or we just have to keep these forums updated and in line with the hip-hop and all other worlds! |

Civil. I think that in the mean time we all need to take whatever we find interesting and filter it to the forum. If your into sewing the post, if your into cooking then post it, if your siked about the 4 shots a basketball player just made in a playoff game post it, if you see a fly ass photo the Kanye just posted on his blog then post it here. Don't forget that we have to credit the sources at all time as well.

About the space that's cool brejin respect i know they all work thru credit, we need the technicians' input on this. This would be a pretty comprehensive project but if led properly could turn out real fruitful. |

i am capable of doing whatever needs to be done
i will buy it and host the website whenever it is agreed that it is time to do so
if somebody is able to do the web design, i can build a cms-based site that can have full multimedia abilities and the ability to post news articles thru a web interface
sky is the limit
and its barely a limit
