*Note* I'll have to update this thread more later. For now, here's the gist of it:
(You'll see posts by me in one of the following threads(yeah I'm all over the internet) from back when I was a blind follower of the Gnostic teachings, posts that aren't totally relevant to the discussion)
The Eye Diamond and Illumination
Wizard Of Oz Mind Control
Now this Scorpio Shaping Flow guy might seem a little nuts at first, however if you really want to have an idea about symbolism of Water and Light, do take the time to read all of his posts(most of the other posts in those threads aside from SSF's aren't really worth taking the time to read) in the above two threads. I've studied enough about occultism to have a decent basis for saying that SSF's research is at least worth looking at.
I read his posts for the first time a few years ago, but as I read them again last night, they really got me thinking.
One must possess the same key that they possess in order to decipher the symbolic encryption. Dark is the element of Fire and also God, while light is the element of Water or Goddess.
As far as I can tell, there is only one "lodge," and they play the role of darkness reaching out after the light via astral projection. Astral projection is not in and of itself negative, but like all natural processes taken under conscious control, it can be abused. They think using analogy quite a bit, so light might symbolize orgone energy (the energy in the energy-body) which the astral body naturally absorbs, or it might symbolize information, which can be acquired via ghostly surveillance.

The "bite on the leg," as portrayed in Crowley's version of The Fool, would symbolize this invasion also, for the thigh can act as an information pool of a sort where Water is stored - Water stollen by vampiric means and Dorothy's free thinking threatens to draw that Water back to Dorothy, thus the bite on the leg analogy where "blood" might be drawn from the wound....
...Also, Dorothy actually feeds the wicked witch and makes the ugly die in her, so the wicked witch becomes beautiful, though were don't witness this. The wicked witch won in the end. Water was what she was after. It was taken in the beginning of the movie, and then returned in the end, and Dorothy thinks she won. They are allowed to steal your water, but if you accidently take some back, they "become wicked and ugly" to you. It is easier for you to recover your stollen property than it is for them to steal and retain it. All you have to do is practice what they steal.
