As of late, I have been reading up something on Buddhism after finding a book on buddhism on the streets of ny while walking.
I am intreeged by the notion in buddism that gods of the realm of the gods are indeed gods, but are also plauged with the seeds of karmic destruction because of the extacy of living in bliss as a god. This makes me wonder if such a law applies to Allah and Yahweh, meaning, could it be that these two or one supreem gods do exist, and yet are subject to the suffering asscibed by buddah to everything conditioned.
I am more inclined to believe that Allah is self sufficient and complete, yet the buddah darma is confirmed based on experience, so I am not sure if the two world views are compatable. Perhaps the univerce is more mysterious than imaginable, and these two incongruous truths are reconciled by some miraculous facit of divinty.
like in the song i posted, "every breath is a prayer"

it starts out with a quote of man claiming he assended to space where everything was pure radience. and a woman asks him if he was enlightened and he says, "no, because i did not sence it", so perhaps there are unknown deimentions.
Anothre interesting thing i read in the book i found is that in an earlyier life, the historical buddah encountered a previous buddah and lay down in mud so as to be a carpet that could keep the older buddah's feet clean, and having seen this the older buddah predicted that one day the young bohidarma would become a buddah too, so even the historical buddah, wasnt the first buddah, even though he is credidted with founding buddism. This strikes me as an interesting continuity.
Anyone with knowlege of buddism of book recomendations is encouraged to point me in the right direction.
