On a related note, I just found out Hellsing was originally hentai. Thank god he scrapped that. Coyote, Angel Dust (hence Angel Dust Anderson), Legend of the Vampire Hunter and the like were all hardcore manga porn. Apparantly the author likes seeing nuns get gangraped.

Another story that you all should check out, is IDENTITY CRISIS from DC COMICS.... Right now, it's not in graphic novel form, but it will be soon.....It's a 7-issue story, that's one of the best in DC history. DC-IC#1 Uncover the DCU's deadliest secret with a miniseries that explores the DCU from a whole new perspective. It's a secret they'll fight to keep, a secret they're willing to sacrifice themselves for. But this sacrifice, this victim seems almost too much for them to bear... DC-IC#2 In the aftermath of a devastating loss, past and present members of the JLA revisit a deep dark secret of their collective past. Alliances will form and trusts will be broken as the heroes and villains try to solve the greatest mystery to hit the world in decades! DC-IC#3 The mysterious murders in the DCU continue to fuel the flames of unrest in both the heroic community AND the emerging cabal of villains! And if the knock-down, drag-out battle supreme between Deathstroke the Terminator and the Justice League is any indication, things are going to get far worse before they get better! DC-IC#4 How could anyone get past the Thanagarian, Martian, Apokoliptian and Kryptonian security systems installed since the murder of a loved one in IDENTITY CRISIS #1? And look out, because new suspects in the serial killings just may start involving the villains' loved ones too! DC-IC#5 The heroes take a proactive stance against the villains of the DCU...at the cost of lives on both sides of the crisis! Unfortunately, nothing can prevent another loss in a hero's private life. With the stakes raised for everyone involved, things are going to get a lot worse before they get better!DC-IC#6 From the very start, he's been on the case and sifting through clues. No one knows better what it's like to lose someone you love. He's the World's Greatest Detective. Now it's time for Batman to prove it. DC-IC#7 For the past seven months, a new level of humanity has been brought to the DC Universe. Here's where it all comes together. Lives are saved but souls are wrecked as this landmark story concludes! This is a tale of love, vengeance, and the ethics revolving around heroism. How far should a hero go, in order to stop a villain? This story captures that question very well. It also shakes up the DC universe, and reestablishes these classic characters. The effects of this will be long-felt for sometime to come.

Looks interesting. I've become annoyed with American megaseries and wasn't really into them in the first place, but this I may have to check out.

Peace SAMURAI7ASSASSIN
Good look on the IC recommendation. Just read it and most definately enjoyed it. Good mystery, dope art from Mr. Morales. Nice to see some mature exciting writing in the superhero genre considering there is so much that can still be explored.

I refuse to touch .hack. Good lord it looks horrible. hahaaaaa i had a feeling you would say that i like the story line and the fact that it seems like it was written for idiots helps keep my attention span PEACE i can see why they made video games out of it it takes a less demanding look at matrix-type reality concepts
