whatever you do
DO NOT FORGET TO FACTOR THE IMPACT OF TECHNOLOGY on everything you study
part of the significance of crowley is that he is one of the first occultists to have access to the printing press
find a picture of hitler online take a look at his face this may seem superficial but there is no way possible that a man who looks as obviously insane as he is would get anywhere close to a public office
the thread you are looking for is called salesmanship it is also called black magicke it is also called putting pressure on others to get your work done instilling fear baiting
the influences are far too wide spread if you read a lot of robert anton wilson you will find that at the end of the trail it looks like EVERYBODY was in on it
as far as crowley goes - you can see influence from neitzsche and the philosophers of his era
and also some of crowleys lesser known contemporaries were more subtle in their works but you cant mistake the impact of mid 20th century existentialists (sartre and camus etc) on certain ideas that have become popular (you can see them as the seeds of kurt-cobain-culture if you want to look at crowley as planting the goth seed)
crowley knew (knows) how to appeal to the part in most north americans that want to confront the 'monster' that they were scared of as a child
they are still scared and will peel off layers and layers only to find more layers covering a mass of nothing

Is schizoidal splintering/madness a symptom of our society? Or just this investigation?? I prolly have read way too much RAW because everything seems connected in ways more basic than I can comprehend...Sometimes it does seem like everyone is in on it, especially when I can't find anyone to talk about this shit with. BTW...I am a salesman...not by education rather through circumstance...but nonetheless I would like to apply the science & art of this magick to my job. At lthe very least it will make the days pass faster here at DowJones aleister: RAW: PS: regarding monsters...I ran away from the home of a real monster when I was 10 and never looked back...But here's always the subconscious desire to face up, fight & conquer though, isn't there???

I feel like I'm going in the right direction when I have more questions than answers HAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA maybe you know how i feel then when i find a scrap piece of paper in my coat pocket that says "once you unveil the illusion of control there is nothing left to do on this planet" and i couldnt even remember writing that i think it was last week some time the only people to talk about this shit with exist online first these discussions are not possible in real life it is easier to trust a font than a voice (and especially eyes)

plus I can't formulate these thoughts while I'm speaking
you know what I'm saying?
My brain works a little slower than that
I had a good chat with U7 on Friday night...we had like 4-5 different conversations going on at the same time with that personal msg thing...then I took 2 nyquil cold and passed the funk out
Many thanks X...for continually reminding me that it's this journey I seek not a destination
