potential is limited either by awareness or imagination (i can't figure that one out yet) PEACE ADD ON maybe awareness is a result of imagination? this is all an illusion..... right? BTW: excellent idea for a sticky LH... i'll be looking forward to your musings |

And no Contrastiktion; it's not an illusion. I'll explain. Imagination(Vipassana) is basically the opposite of Fantasy. From what I've learned, this is the main factor in the developement of Clairvoyance. To add-on about imagination from the KEMETIC perspective:
The Seat of imagination is governed by the GODDESS HET-HERU.
Her name means "house of ascension", and you may notice that part of her name contains that of HERU's as well.
HERU corresponds to the WILL of man, which is the SEAT OF THE SOUL.
Mythologically, HET-HERU helps to "raise" HERU during his mother's absence of searching for his father.
Thus, the statement is correct:
In both aspects. In reality, these are another one of those "flip sides of the same coin" scenarios.
One cannot have awareness without imagination, and vice versa.
Both of these are essential to reaching and transcending one's potential, mentally, physically and spiritually.

from what i know of you
the amount of information you have in your head and at your disposal is tremendous
but in many cases something like this can become an obstacle
i maintain that you should toss away most of your literature
and stop reading
at this point i say you should be WRITING the books and concentrate on building through discussion
you have the knowledge
practice doing the wisdom
wisdom

and THEN maybe think about acquiring some more books

Haha, I know GODS and others are ready to lose their minds over that one, but yes.
Not only is this correct, but the correspondance between this premise and that of the 5% LESSONS is uncanny:
QABALAH: SPIRIT = HU.......MIND = MAN
5%: BLACK = DOMINANT.....MAN = INTELLIGENCE
That's correct, and that's also why you never see RA as a NETER on the PA'UT NETER as well, since that concept corresponds to the energy in the same manner.
True indeed, everything is in perfect harmony....
For the record, there's nothing whatsoever wrong with the QABALAH.......If anything, it's in the (mis)perception that lies the problem (as is the case with virtually everything, especially of a related nature).

reflecting on the news today that anti-Bush protests were at an unexpected low today during his visit to Toronto
i am wondering if perhaps the collective we is finally getting bored of protesting
though it returned with a fervor in the wake of the the world trade center scenario and the iraq fiasco, perhaps the ineffectiveness of protest has finally overwhelmed some
or perhaps the political mess that we are in is so blatant now that people simply are not interested anymore
some of the repurcussions of this are frightening
just a thought

Peace, here's my take, although Samurai has said what needs to be said (Hotep!!)
Once you identify as your true Self God, your potential can only be defined as one thing: Unlimited. Therefore, the proper use of your imagination should reflect this reality
I've found that my imagination restricts me on occasions when I identify with the limited aspect of myself (my "personality") most of the time the images I entertain when identifying with this part of myself do limit me (that makes sense!!).
However, when I understand (through meditation) that I cannot define myself through my imagination, but as the awareness that "holds" the image, I am able to use my imagination as a tool to uninhibit my potential.
Anyone that studies the Tree Of Life (Kamitic Tree Of Life that is) will know that Sphere 7 (Het-Heru), along with sphere 8 (Sebek) are unified by sphere 9 (Auset). Sphere 9 is said to be a "reflection" which allows you to check that the programmes of your sprit are operating properly (according to Divine Law). Therefore, to repeat what I said earlier, your imagination should "reflect" your divine reality and be cultivated to help you achieve your birth right (God-Hood)
Please, please, please, if any of you spot things that are innaccurate or feel that you could crystalise my understanding of this, reply to this text. Spiritually, I am at my hungiest right now and I cannot turn back
