Not speaking about the same 'serpent'. The 'serpent' in the garden wasn't an actual snake, it was symbolic of Satan, who came in the form of a man. (he had a satanic mind; that's why the term serpent and snake are used as someone who decieves people)

When you read the story in Exodus, the serpents in the wilderness was a 'curse' to the Israelites, one serpent was made into a staff, and was said to have the power to heal a Israelite that was bit by one of those serpents; Christ was hung on a cross, he was 'cursed' (because being hung on a cross is being 'accursed') so when Israelites look to Christ (his teachings, law, & wisdom), they too will be saved from death.

LMAO! Pecae Keph! I was in no way defending or speaking kindly of the Templars. I was pointing out how they gained knowledge of many eastern trains of thought and wisdom. What they did with it after that is their business. But your points are too right! You taught me something new. And yes, people have been crucified by a variety of means but I was making remarks as to the Templars uncovering many truths that contradicted what they were taught in Europe.
