Okay, this is a "scary" topic, but one that I feel should be tackled... And thus, who better than me to do it? So, to spark this discussion off, here are some Q's: *What are your general views on the Bible? *Have you read the Bible in its entirety? If not, how much have you read? *Is the Bible important to your own personal spiritual/cultural growth and development? I shall add-on shortly with my views, but would like to see how others feel first. PEACE

*What are your general views on the Bible? *Have you read the Bible in its entirety? If not, how much have you read? *Is the Bible important to your own personal spiritual/cultural growth and development? Like you said it is a tricky subject. I think the problems lies not in the actual writing itself but in the understanding that all types of people develop regarding it. I think the Bible, like all other holy books, is an expression of man's religious customs and writings. I recognize that the Bible has its origins and was heavily influenced by Kamit and Mesapotamia. The old testament being a conglomerations of Hebrew religious achievement. But I always ask what's the origin of those? The new testament is something else as it is these books that the Christian Church so closely revers and revolves around in respect to their theologies. I see no problem with both the old and new testament I only see the problems in the people that misinterpret the Bible. My belief is that the Bible holds ancients wisdom but also that it has been tainted by history and re-writing and cultural adaptations of various nations who in certain aspects bastardized the original customs of promordial 'religious' nations. I never read the Bible from front to back but I've done the knowledge to a lot of its books. I'm familiar with a lot of the old testament and also have some knowledge of the new testament as well. I actually agree with a lot of the teachings of Jesus I just don't believe in the Church made ideologies. With all that kept in mind, I think the Bible is a great work and should be approached with cautious. To somebody like me who views the Bible as spiritual stories, symbols and representations it could really take a whole new holistic meaning. But as soon as we get technical we can fall into the wicked realm of inter-religious disagreement. I'd like to see what you have to say about this yourself Lord. Also to add on you have all these other books like the Dead Sea Scrolls, Essene Gospel of Peace and the Apocrypha, Gospel of Thomas etc that shed much light on the topic of early Christianity however remains to be rejected by the Christian headquarters. In these we find out what the makers of the Bible DID NOT include in the work and the fact that they have so much to hide scares me. That is why I say the truth can only be verified by Self. I see the Bible within the universality of all spiritual and holy works but also I see it as a source of something wicked caused not by the teaching of the Bible but by the limited mind of certain man. Moreover I think the Bible belongs to everyone and anyone can benefit and draw from it but anyone can also get caught up in the technicalities. PEACE

*What are your general views on the Bible?
book written by men for various reasons: - politics - entertainment
*Have you read the Bible in its entirety? If not, how much have you read? - no - but enough of it for me to be satisfied (aka - i get the point)
*Is the Bible important to your own personal spiritual/cultural growth and development? - emphatically yes - after the 3rd eye opening - i recognized it as a well constructed piece of literature which metaphorically (and melodramatically) commented on many metaphysical observations
overall on a scale of 1 - 7 in terms of its effectiveness as a tool for growth and development:
i give it a 4.8

i see it as a metaphoric text, it talks on many levels speaking on different hidden concepts and truths. It is also there to confuse the masses, keep them in circles. It was written to keep the masses away from the pure truth- which is how things (power) started.
Most of the things in the bible are from egypt and ancient religions, secret of the ages. Also the mystery schools i think, im not certain.

"Scary" topic indeed. Let's tackle it. ;D I have read "The Bible" cover-to-cover and the Book of Mormon/Doctrine and Covenants/Pearl of Great Price. And I've also read an entire English translation of the Qur'an as well. "The Bible" is basically an encoded Setian FreeMasonic document is it not? "Yahovah"("God") and "Yavhe"("Satan") are both different names for the same Demiurge("The Bible" even says so), so Jews and Christians worship Satan, and Satanists worship Jahovah. Moses or Musa(who is said to have taught the devil tricknology) was a Hebrew Kemetian Priest who taught a watered-down Jewish version of the Tree of Life. So if I'm not sure if I could have even fully trusted the Ancient Kemetian Priesthood itself, what does that say about trusting anything of the Jewish based religions? Now Allah may be a name for The Absolute 'beyond' the Demiurge, while "Jahovah" is merely just the Demiurge. I'm not sure. In the Qur'an(at least the version of it we have now) Allah certainly seems to have Demiurgic qualities. Of course the relative depends on the Absolute, just as the existence of a drop of water depends on the ocean(to use an overly simplistic analogy for now). But that doesn't mean that our Absolute Nature condones the constructs of the relative. I also would like to touch on in another thread the possibility of Yakub = YHSVH = Shiva = Kubera = Kalachakra = Saturn = Demiurge, etc. (Also, look up the Gnostic story of Sophia, or as Samurai36 has said: Sofik, in relation to the Demiurge). I also wonder why Samael Aun Weor and Ra Un Nefer Amen rely so heavily on the Jewish diagram of the Tree of Life, when S.A.W. has written much about the evils of Jewish Zionism, and R.U.N.A. has written much about the many Jewish misconceptions of the Tree of Life that he says don't exist in the Kemetian understanding of it? I've found a lot of apparent deep truths when reading the books of both of these authors, however, both of them seem to support the plans of the tyrannical Demiurge in various ways(such as the Demiurgic eye-for-an-eye system of physical rebirth and karma, karma that would be damn near impossible to pay through "good deeds" or by following any gradual spiritual path, unless of course one is of a "certain elite"). I realize that in the Jewish teachings there are 32 Paths, and Four Worlds(imagine four Jewish Tree of Life's stacked upon one another in 3D, to get some idea), which I suppose would make 128 Paths? Anyhow, I met online someone("The Fetch") who claims that in order to see what's really being communicated via "The Tree of Life", one has to chop down the Jewish version of it so that it falls to the left. He claims that the manipulative, yet stupid, Setian Masons are 'the Jews'; and that the 'Osirian' Masons are the non-Jewish-following Masons found in various Lodges around the world(which does include all non-Jewish people, not just the European), the 'Osirian' Masons being the ones who want to teach the truth more openly. Seems like The Fetch's version of the "Black Lodge" and "White Lodge". He basically says that the Illuminati use the English numerology system to communicate, all the while uninitiated(and even some of the initiated) are running around into dead ends trying to decipher the 22-letter Hebrew system. Does anyone know of a Tree of Life depiction older than the following one? I'm basically throwing ideas out there. I have a lot more to say about all this, mainly in other threads though. Thoughts on any of this?

wowowow
my metaphysics have driven me in all sorts of different directions over the past few years
any questions i have about this are from an 'outside-looking-in' perspective, because i do not know jack about any of this stuff
maybe there is a renewed need for learning going on here, because i definitely would like to be a part of this discussion -
perhaps we need to break down how we learn things, because i would love to put all these faces and names and terms into perspective
i do not have difficulty learning and grasping new concepts, but for years - even ever since we were back in the day building before - i always wondered what made you guys pursue the intellectual paths yall were pursuing -
looking back - i can see perhaps that the same perspective couldve been made about me -
i knowledged english versions of the koran and read what i needed to of the bible - but on a personal level - these books werent speaking to me too much, and the stories didnt intrigue me enough to keep going
as some of yall know - i got my kicks out of the i ching which lead me to taking a closer look at the tao and other similar schools of thought
zen, buddhism
my main questions for you guys is based around trying to understand your world views and how/why you find these things so interesting or even the slightest bit plausible?
or what leads you to believe that there may be any conclusive evidence to these historical hypotheses?
for example - that last post - (and by the way Tamahu - it is great to be in your digital presence again after these years)
when you say something like this:
"Moses or Musa(who is said to have taught the devil tricknology) was a Hebrew Kemetian Priest who taught a watered-down Jewish version of the Tree of Life. So if I'm not sure if I could even have trusted the Ancient Kemetian Priesthood itself, what does that say about trusting anything of the Jewish based religions?"
what exactly does this lead to?
1. was Moses a Hebrew Kemetian Priest? 2. how do you know? 3. can you possibly really know this? 4. are we sure that Moses actually existed? 5. could he be a metaphor himself? or some sort of fictitious character? etc etc
and i guess the other thing is that i ask these questions only out of surface interest - i can not really find the inclination or necessity to search for a answer
i guess to a certain degree - i have already come to a sufficient enuf answer to satisfy my intellect - my position is that i dont know, and i dont think anybody can know
same dilly with the bible being a 'encoded' document -
altho it may be some sort of code - the people who wrote it and the people who it was written for cannot be determined to any substantial and satisfying degree
please correct me if im wrong
i wrote extensively on the corp a couple of years ago about the flaws in any pursuit in a understanding of history -
all these insights derived from taoism and modern schools of philosophy
and tho my knee-jerk reaction is to simply dismiss threads such as this, i respect yall a lot and i would really like to get down to seeing what you see and feeling that impetus that has yall doing this research
i wanna know what it is that yall are trying to figure out?
and if you have questions for me about how i see all this in the i ching - i would love to sort that out too and get to the bottom of it
im going way the shit off topic here - and maybe this can branch into another post - but if i am going to get anything out of this forum renaissance - i would love to hear one or any of you guys speak on this
my perspective on life right now:
i work until my body collapses
then i wake up and go back to work
work consists of providing services to clients who pay me for building things for them, or teaching others how to build things
my over-arching goal is to endure suffering and end all suffering on the planet earth
and eventually space travel
can any of this historical searching and understanding help me in my pursuits?
if you can help me (intellectually, psychologically, or otherwise), i will do everything and anything in my path to return that 1000000000000000 fold
please let me know if this message is unclear at all
if it would help to understand my position on history, i will dig up any appropriate threads i made on the corp and post them here
holla
Peace

important to my being - i can make it important when i need and i can make it unimportant now THAT's something there is a stage where we look for magic in the book and we make up a code for ourselves to decode in order for us to unlock this magic - the magic happens when you apply whats needed to yourself words of wisdom from the book -

there is a stage where we look for magic in the book and we make up a code for ourselves to decode in order for us to unlock this magic - the magic happens when you apply whats needed to yourself words of wisdom from the book - maybe we should try to identify these stages - for example: 1. unaware of the stories 2. hear the stories and take them literally 3. question the legitimacy of the stories 4. explore the context of the stories and when they were written 5. examine the stories as metaphor 6. consider the stories as some kind of magic code 7. understand that words are powerful and the stories can be viewed in many ways that is just a rough example - feel free to re-order or add on

Any one have backround informations regarding this allegation by jedi mind tricks feat lost children of babylon and El Eloh:
"Bring the mist of Mahabharata Celestial God symbolic to the disagreeable complex mathematics Of the Hebrew bible"
why and how would the mathematics of the hebrew bible be disagreeable?
And how can it be that all the positive teachings of the bible can be considered "setian"?
