I think this thread, or a new thread can benefit from a break down of the bible. Meaning, a book report on each section. For example what the book of Mark is about, the demographic is aimed at, major quotes etc.
I would start it, but I haven't picked up a bible in so long, I wouldn't do it justice. If anyone could get a jesuit or priest in here to contribute would also be helpful. Someone who actually dedicated their life to studying the history.....
